Many people believe that the bigger the house, the better; however, a new trend of tiny houses has been gaining popularity recently. Tiny houses are not just really small homes; they are a way of living a minimalist lifestyle free from the complications of mortgages and excessive upkeep responsibility. They help reduce wastefulness and clutter, as the small size forces homeowners to be more conscious of what they are buying and bringing into their houses. Another benefit of living in a tiny house is the freedom, as many of them are portable and can be set up almost anywhere.

Tiny Houses come in a variety of styles and forms, such as boats, trailers, sheds and cabins. Some use wind power, solar power and rainwater collection.
To get started, there are a few options. You can buy a used one, a new one that has just been built, or build your own using a kit which can be found online for around $3,000 to $5,000 depending on what you’re looking for. Be sure to consider the functions that you need from your tiny house and to pare down your belongings before committing to one.
