Smell the Fall Feeling

Written by: Marie Clark

When I get some free time, I absolutely love doing crafts. Now that the brisk feeling in the air is coming out, I am spending much more time inside. I love that cozy feeling you get when wrapped in a blanket, reading a book, tea in hand, and smelling good smells. I do miss being able to burn a candle in my room, but who says you can’t make them!

Below is a unique recipe by Davida Kugelmass from She Uncovered on how to make a pumpkin spice mason jar candle. With some basic kitchen supplies, a few jars, olive oil, candle wax to melt, a wick, and pumpkin spice, you can make a fall smelling concoction in 40 minutes (after the 2 day infusion).

Try out the recipe below and make some unique gifts to share with friends or burn them all in one day! Don’t forget to garnish the jar with some twine when you’re done. Most importantly, be aware of how lovely the fall smells are. The leaves, the pumpkin, the apple cider, the warm coffee, enjoy it all. Stay warm folks!
