Whenever you need a friend, they’re always there. It’s like they have these super sensors attached to them that lets them know you’ve had a rough day. A good friend is always by your side when you need them, and they provide adventure and humor to lift your spirits to the highest degree. So I have compiled a list of fun things to do with your friend(s):
(WARNING: These activities can be cringy, but they are composed of pure fluff and love, so they are worthwhile in the end)
- SING LOUDLY AND OFFKEY
Friends will sing with you no matter what, even if you both sound terrible. The best kind of singing is spontaneous and random. So for example, if you and your friend are doing homework, and you suddenly burst out a few Whitney Houston lyrics, your friend will recognize that it is time. And so, let out your best high notes, even if it sounds more like a screech, because it doesn’t matter how great you sound. What matters is that you and your friend are singing together and having fun.
- GO OUT AND SPLURGE
While saving money is an important thing to do, it is also important to go out and shop for random things you don’t even need. For example, you buy this amazing dress that you only end up wearing one time, and then it just sits in the closet gathering dust (I relate to this too much). But the important thing is that you’re shopping with your friend and buying things together just makes the experience more entertaining.
- WATCH MOVIES (OR SEARCH ENDLESSLY ON NETFLIX FOR HOURS)
If you can’t seem to make up your mind on what show or movie to watch on Netflix, grab your friend and be indecisive together. That’s the best time, because you just click on these random movies and make fun of the titles and whatnot. When you actually do find a movie, enjoy commentating on it with your friend and pointing out which actor you think is hotter.
- GO TO A PET STORE AND CRY OVER THE ADORABLE ANIMALS
Pet stores are the place to take your friends to, because animals are simply the best! If you’ve ever stood in front of a bird’s cage, squawking at it like the true bird you are, your friend will be there alongside you. Not to mention, when you see the cats in the store, you just start randomly crying because you want to take all of them home (I can honestly relate to this too). But the best thing is, your friend will be crying right alongside you, because that’s what friends do.
I could go on with this list, but these are just a few things you can do with your friend(s) if you so desire. Friends are important, and no matter how many you have, the power of friendship will forever remain intact. So go out and have some fun!
